Taken2 Movie Review by R. Gallagher

MOVIE REVIEW  -  TAKEN2
By R. Gallagher

The trailer for this movie really interested me.  I saw it and it was very good.  It has a lot of action!  The movie dealt with the events where the first movie left off.  The bad guys were out to get Liam Neeson’s character because he had messed up their plans to sell his daughter.  After the reunion in the United States, the bad guys go after his wife and daughter this time.

It was interesting to see the reference to math and the calculations for how they would escape.  They also had to plot their movement when travelling.  I liked the movie a lot.
See the trailer at Movies.Yahoo.Com.  ENJOY!

TRUTH by Q. Coyett

Truth is power, truth is true wealth,
Truth is unequalled ultimate strength,
Truth makes soul its own king
And makes the angels in heaven sing,
Truth is joy, truth is sunshine,
Truth is heart's pristine sheen.
Truth is true friend if we side with it,
And the deadliest foe while stand against it,
Truth strikes terror in law-breakers' heart
And shakes those hearts that go short of it,
For truth is all, truth is tall,
No noble soul ever refrains from its call.

Truth is might, truth is true light,

Truth is the path always is right.

Breast Cancer Awareness (10-19-12)

by Qahir

Today we represent Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing pink.  If you did not wear pink, you paid more money that will be used to fight this disease.  October is officially Breast Cancer Awareness Month throughout the country.
Why should we be aware of this?  If someone you care about discovers they have it, it can be very tough.  The chances of a woman needing invasive Breast Cancer at some time in her life is nearly 1 in 8.  Please do your part to support this cause!

Stop The Violence (10-19-12)

by Inayah, Andres, and Bryan

Today violence is getting out of control in the world.  You have cops hitting people, bus drivers and people killing each other, and crazy domestic violence.  A Cleveland bus driver was suspended for punching a female rider, as reported on the Nightly News.  Also in the news was a story of a police officer punching a woman during a Puerto Rican parade here in Philadelphia. It is time we all tried to be more kind to each other.  Just think of a world without violence!
